Digital Orthodontics Digital orthodontics is a new generation method used for orthodontic treatment planning and application using digital technologies. This method makes it possible to achieve faster and more accurate results compared to classical orthodontic methods. Digital orthodontics presents the treatment process visually with the 3D imaging technology it offers. Using digital models, it scans the condition of the patient’s teeth and gums and creates a treatment plan. Technological scanning devices are used instead of plaster to take the patient’s intraoral and dental impressions and faster results are obtained. 3D images of the patient whose intraoral images are taken can be viewed and stored in computer environment. It is also possible to see how the teeth or jaw will look when the treatment is completed.
