Abstract History

Çiğdem Demircan Çörtük was born in Gaziantep in 1982.

She completed her primary and secondary education in Gaziantep.

In 2006, after graduating from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry, she started her doctoral studies at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Orthodontics in 2007.

In 2011, she completed her doctoral education with her thesis on 'Clinical Investigation of Dental Plaque Accumulation and Periodontal Status in Fixed Orthodontic Treatment Patients Using Different Types of Toothbrushes'. Dr Çiğdem Demircan Çörtük participated in many courses, congresses and seminars during and after her orthodontic education and took part in domestic and international publications and studies. She is a member of Turkish Orthodontic Association, Turkish Aligner Association, World Federation of Orthodontists and Turkish University Women Association.

She is married and has two children. She serves her patients in the field of orthodontics in her private practice in Bağdat Caddesi Kadıköy.
